  • How often should I clean my lashes?
    For best results and lash retention, clean your lashes with Mesmerreyes Eyelash Foam Cleaner at least once per day - twice per day if you wear makeup.
  • How long will my eyelash extensions last?
    Lashes can last through a full growth cycle up to 8 weeks with proper care and depending on how compatible they are with your skin's pH. To maintain a full look, fills at 2-3 weeks are recommended. Cleaning your lashes regularly with Mesmerreyes Foam Lash Cleanser will help you retain your set and desired look.
  • Will my extensions damage my natural eyelashes?
    Lash extensions compliment, but do not damage your natural lashes. Be careful not to rub or pull out your lashes, as this can cause damage to your hair follicles.
  • What not to do when you have eyelash extensions?
    Avoid getting your lashes wet for 24 hours after your appointment. Steer clear of oil based skincare products, mascara, sleeping on your face and rubbing or pulling out eyelashes.
  • I am going on vacation. Can I swim with my eyelash extensions?
    Yes! Swimming with eyelash extensions is okay - especially if you've avoided getting them wet at least 24 hours after application.
  • How often do I need to get my extensions filled?
    To maintain your full look, fills at 2-3 weeks are recommended.
  • Do eyelash extensions hurt?
    Eyelash extensions should not hurt when applied correctly. Lash extensions are applied with professional tools by isolating one natural lash, and adhering one extension to your natural lash for a classic set. For volume and mega volume sets, fans, or groups of lashes are placed on an individual lash. Our lash artists apply under eye gel pads to prevent discomfort and aid in application.   • Do eyelash extensions look fake?
    Eyelash extensions can be applied to look anyway that you desire. Lash artists at Mesmerreyes will be able to give you your desired look or very similar depending the shape of your eyes. You may choose to have a shorter, more natural style, a longer, more dramatic style, or a style somewhere in between. Eyelash extensions are meant to enhance your already natural beauty.
  • How should I care for my lashes after application?
    Avoid getting your lashes wet for 24 hours after your appointment. Do not use an eyelash curler on your extensions. Use only OIL-FREE make-up remover on your eyes. Avoid waterproof mascara, cleansers, moisturizers, and other products containing oil. After showering, blot your lashes dry. You may blow-dry them on cool to rejuvenate the fluffiness. Do not rub on your eyes or pull off your extensions. Clean your lashes with Mesmerreyes Foam Lash Cleaner regularly.
  • Can I wear makeup with my lash extensions?
    Yes! You may wear makeup with your lash extensions. However, makeup can cause excessive buildup around your eyes which will impact the quality of your set. Be sure to regularly clean your lashes with Mesmerreyes Foam Lash Cleaner.
  • How do I wash my face with eyelash extensions?
    Keep your Eyelash Extensions dry for 4-6 hours after your appointment. You may wash your face in the sink with a washcloth avoiding the eye area. Keep all oil based products away from the eyes and remember that everything on your face will travel to the eye area.
  • How should I sleep with eyelash extensions?
    Resting your head and lashes on a silk pillowcase is ideal when you have eyelash extensions. Not only will it allow your lashes and the extensions themselves to glide on the surface while you sleep, but you will also avoid any lashes getting caught or pulled like when you use a cotton pillowcase. If possible, try sleeping on your back or side.
  • How do I care for my eyelash extensions in the shower?
    The most crucial thing to keep your lash extensions safe while showering is avoiding oil or cream based soaps around the eyes. Instead, get a water based solution.
  • What happens if my lashes sting?
    If you experience any discomfort during the procedure, you should mention this immediately to your technician. This could be a sign that you have an allergic reaction to the glue. Crying during the process will also make it very difficult for the glue to dry and bond the extension to your lashes.
  • What will I receive with my lash course?

  • What is the duration of the training?
    Training courses typically run between the hours of 10a-5p (6-8 hours). These hours are subject to change in which you would be notified prior to the training date.
  • Do I recieve a discount for booking more than one course?
    Please contact Mesmerreyes Lash Studio to receive the multi-course discount.
  • How long do I need to wait between taking each course?
    Technically you do not wait need to wait a specific amount of time between courses. However, it is suggested you take time to practice what you've learned in the classic course and master the fundamentals before attempting to apply volume sets.
  • Where is the training based?
    All training sessions are held at Mesmerreyes Lash Studio unless stated otherwise in which case you would be notified prior to the class date.
